TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF SALE:
Unless otherwise noted, all orders are for material only
and are shipped F.O.B. our factory in Los Osos,
California. Cost of transportation, off-loading,
installation labor and materials such as mortar, grout,
sealers, etc. are not included.
The purchaser is responsible for inspection of the
material upon receipt. The insurance liability of
Specialty Stone ceases upon delivery of product to the
shipping agent. Freight is insured through the shipping
agent.
The purchaser is responsible for verifying code
compliance with the local governing code agency.
Specialty Stone will do material take-offs from plans
supplied by the purchaser, however, it is the sole
responsibility of the purchaser to verify accuracy of
sales quote information.
A deposit of 50% of the estimate is required on all
orders with payment in full prior to delivery.
Orders are scheduled only after the deposit payment is
received. Specialty Stone values your business and will
do its best to meet production deadlines, however, we
cannot guarantee an exact delivery date. Purchaser
agrees that Specialty Stone will not be subject to any
liability for any job related delays.
No cancellations or refunds will be allowed once the
order has been put into production. Any pre-production
cancellations requiring a refund will be subject to
charges for time spent at the rate of $90.00 per
man-hour. Any changes to the project which require
additional drafting, color samples or other
administrative cost will be charged hourly at the rate
of $90.00 per hour. Additional material requested after
the original production is complete will be charged at
our shop rate of $90.00 per man-hour plus materials.
Cost estimates are based on gray Portland cement with no
color, unless otherwise noted.
All designs and physical property related to mold
production remain the sole property of Specialty Stone.
Product dimensions utilize two conventions, nominal and
exact. In general, lengths are expressed in nominal
terms (actual lengths may be as much as ½” less); widths
and thicknesses are usually stated in 1/8” increments.
Our products are manufactured to a dimensional tolerance
of 1/8”.
LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
Specialty Stone will, for the period of One Year after
delivery, at its sole discretion, either replace or
repair any component that, in its opinion, does not meet
the TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE.
Any discrepancies or complaints regarding appearance,
including color, tint, hue, shading, color consistency,
consistency of grain or texture, etc., and not excluding
cosmetic effect, must be conveyed in writing to
Specialty Stone by the Authorized Purchase Agent, before
commencing installation. In the event of a written
complaint, remedial action will only be considered in
the event of a discrepancy between production records
and the approved samples.
Under no circumstances, either expressed or implied does
this warranty cover the cosmetic appearance of any
component or components after they have been installed.
No other warranty, either written or implied, shall
supersede this LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY.
